A recent addition to The Tinney Law Firm, Andrea Marano King joined us in 2007. Andrea attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she studied English. She graduated in 1999 and moved to New York, NY to work with an advertising agency. In 2003, she returned to her hometown of Morgantown, WV to attend law school at the West Virginia University College of Law.
While at the College of Law, Andrea was a member of the West Virginia Law Review, and active in the M.E. Lugar Trial Association, where she was a finalist in the 2006 West Virginia Invitational. She also served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and co-founder and President of the American Constitution Society.
Prior to her graduation from the College of Law in 2006, Andrea interned with the Honorable Irene M. Keeley of the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, was the James M. Sprouse Fellow in the Kanawha County Office of the Public Defender, and worked as a research assistant on two published articles by Professor Caprice L. Roberts.
Andrea's practice is currently focused on general civil litigation.
